First of all thanks H-E-B for sponsoring this post! This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of H-E-B Curbside. The opinions and text are all mine.
If you’ve been on this blog for a while I’m pretty sure you have read me saying that I’m always busy and always on the go. Seriously tho, I sometimes feel like I barely have time to breath, let alone live a normal life. I juggle a full-time job, a side biz, a blog, a family and a very demanding dog all at the same time.
Needless to say, I’m always looking for ways to save time. My favorite? Saving time grocery shopping! I mean it’s an errand that I love to do but it’s one that takes SO MUCH TIME out of my day, it’s insane. I love to do it when I can leisurely stroll through the aisles, not when I need to buy all the toilet paper rolls.
Here are my favorite 3 ways to save time grocery shopping, so you can spend more time doing the things you love (cooking maybe?).
The best three ways to save time grocery shopping
- Buy non-perishables in bulk: This one is so simple to do and takes literally no time. Think about all the non-perishables you use in your day-to-day. Toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, cans of soup, sugar, and flour, all of them. Once you have a nice list place your order with H-E-B Curbside and stock up on the goods. The great thing about buying them in bulk is that a) you won’t run out of it in the last second and b) you don’t need to remember to constantly buy stuff and c) purchasing the bulky items with the H-E-B Curbside app makes the process even easier (hey, things will be waiting for you outside, you won’t need to carry them through the whole supermarket).
- Set your repurchases on automatic: Big chances are you purchase the same things over and over again (those non-perishables for example), so create a list and automate the process as much as possible. There are several apps and platforms you can use, the H-E-B Curbside App, for example, let’s you create a list there and the re-purchase process is a breeze.
- Use an APP: There’snothingg that saves you more time when grocery shopping than using an app. You can purchase everything while doing something else, waiting in line while in another errand or even during your lunch break. For example, H-E-B Curbside App is great for those cases. You make your purchase and then just head to H-E-B’s parking lot and pick your stuff without having to leave your car.
