Hey there Fall! I’m here just falling in love with you every second. And okay okay probably eating this chai latte frosting with a spoon. But mostly falling in love with you.
I seriously believe that Fall makes everything better and probably cuter but mainly better. Summer is fun and all but gosh the high temps kill me a bit every day + it’s so hot outside than thinking about turning the oven on stresses me out. Spring? Too many bugs Winter? Too cold. But Fall? Fall is the perfect season. It’s also chock-full of holidays, so I got a lot of excuses to bake+ there are so many good ingredients available that make the process of creating a recipe so inspiring. There are the spices and the cranberries and the pumpkin and the combination of all 3 of them. OMG
So needless to say during these months you can probably find me baking g all the pumpkin spice latte cupcakes and then some cranberry cakes and maybe some apple cider doughnut cupcakes but mostly you’ll find me drinking chai latte. The super spicy, extra hot chai latte.
And you know what? I decided to give it a shot and try my hand at making a chai latte frosting because let’s be honest if something si delicious chances are the frosting version is going to be awesome as well. And it was it totally was. (like insert all the exclamation points because it was mind blowing good!!!)
My friends this chai latte frosting tastes like the real chai latte! This is the real deal. Like if the Chai Latte they sell at your favorite coffee shop had a love child with some buttercream. It’s spicy it’s hot, it’s so flavorful, and it’s fluffy. Friends, it’s SO FLUFFY!!!
It also pairs deliciously well with cakes, and quick bread, and loafs, and you know pretty much everything. Actually, remove that pretty much because it pairs great with EVERYTHING! I have found myself making it again and again because it’s so versatile. If you want to add a hint of fall fun to a recipe, just spread a spoonful of chai latte frosting on top.
