Hey hey hey! Today I made chocolate vanilla bars, well actually I made them on Friday, then my internet stop working for the WHOLE weekend and after a couple of heart attacks it came back today. I guess it wanted to take some vacations. But I made bars and they are the best chocolate thing you are going to try in your whole life. Period
They are a bit dense, a bit moist and with the perfect frosting to cake ratio.
I really really mean it when I say this are great.
aaaand, and this is my favorite thing of this recipe,
you don’t need a mixer to make them.
You only need a spoon and whatever bowl you have dancing on your kitchen. Can it get better? I mean Chocolate Vanilla Bars without the hazzle of cleaning lots of fancy tools.
So lets get baking
Chocolate Vanilla Bars
for 6 Chocolate Vanilla Bars
1/2 Cup flour (you can use gf flour mix)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 + 1/8 Cups cacao powder
1 Ounce chocolate chips
1/4 Cup hot hot water
1/2 Cup water
1/2 Cup sugar (you can use cup for cup sweetner)2 Big eggs
preheat the oven to 325 F. Grease and flour a square cake pan
In a bowl mix the chocolate chips and the cacao powder. Add the hot water and mix until you have a paste and the chips are melted
Add the butter and the sugar and mix for 3 minutes until fluffy. Add the eggs, one by one.In 2 additions mix in the flour and the baking powder. Continue mixing until everything is well incorporated (2 minutes)
Pour the mixture on the cake pna and place in the ovn for 15/20 minutes or until done
Remove from the oven and let cool
Decorate with vanilla frosting

hola hola hola! Hoy hice barras, bueno realmente no las hice hoy, las hice el viernes, luego trate de subir el post y me di cuenta que no tenía internet, prometí subirla el sabado y adivinen que? Pues seguí sin internet todo el fin de semana hasta que finalmente hoy volvió sin necesitar reparación ni nada. Asumo que decidió tomarse unas vacaciones y volver el lunes refrescado jaja es la unica explicación medio lógica que le consigo.
Bueno les cuento de estas Chocolate Vanilla Bars. Son lo mejor que van a probar en terminos de chocolate. Punto
Son un poquito densas, un poquito humedas, y con la cantidad perfecta de frosting por centimetro de torta. Es en serio cuando les digo que son muy muy sabrosas. La textura es muy similar a la de un cupcake pero sin necesidad de capacillos.
Además, y esto es mi cosa favorita en todo el mundo, no necesitas de batidora para hacerlas. Solo necesitas una cuchara cualquiera y un tupperware que tengas danzando por la cocina y ya. Porque, no se si es algo que solo me pasa a mi (porfa diganme que a ustedes también!), pero muchas veces despues de hornear me da DEMASIADO fastidio lavar todos los utensilios, por eso me encantan cuando usamos muuuy poquitas herramientas y por eso estas Chocolate Vanilla Bars me fascicnan
Ahora vamos con los tips acostumbrados.
Como siempre recuerdate de precalentar el horno, es un must cuando estes horneando, no solo para mis recetas sino para cualquiera que hagas, se te puede olvidar agregar la harina y los huevos (en verdad no pero es para darle enfassis, sigueme el juego) pero no precalentar el horno
Cuando batas los ingredientes con la cuchara hazlo fuertemente, como si estuvieses batiendo huevos a manos para introducirle aire a la mezcla y que no quede muy compacta
La mezcla de chips de chocolate es super importante le añaden cremosidad y humedad a la torta y el sabor es 10 mil veces mejor que si solo usasemos cacao el polvo
No hay mas nada! Asi de facil es esta torta, asi que a la receta
Chocolate Vanilla Bars
Para 6 Chocolate Vanilla Bars
1/2 Taza de harina (puedes sustituirlo por mix gf)
1 Cucharadita polvos de hornear
1/4 + 1/8 Taza cacao en polvo1 Onza de chips de chocolate
1/4 Taza agua caliente
1/2 Taza de mantequilla
1/2 Taza azucar (puedes sustituirlo por edulcorante taza por taza)
2 huevos grandes o 3 pequeños
Precalienta el horno a 325 grados F. Engrasa y enharina un molde cuadrado
En un bowl coloca las chispas de chocolate y el cacao en polvo, viertele el agua caliente (asegurate que este muy caliente) y mezcla hasta que tengas una pasta homogenea
Agregale la mantequilla y el azucar y bate fuertemente por unos 2 o 3 minutos
Añade los huevos, 1 a la vez hasta que todo este incorporado
Agrega en dos adiciones la harina y los polvos de hornear.
Vierte la mezcla en el molde previante engrasado y enharinado y llevalo al horno por 15/20 minutos o hasta que introduzcas un palillo y este salga seco
Retiralo del molde y dejalo enfriar.
Decora con frosting de vainilla.
