Today I want to show you guys a party!! A fall party! A girls Cozy Night In party,!!
Best of all: you only need things that probably already have on hand
because lets be honest its a night in who wants to go out to buy things when you just want to stay in?
and cuddle with a ton of blankets
and eat cupcakes
and then grab one more blanket
What I’m trying to say is that this fall party is incredibly easy to create at home.
and is full of incredibly easy to create at home snacks and desserts. A win- win situation if you ask me
Also is the perfect excuse to catch up with friends/family/bff (yes my best friend and I can polish that table off in 5 minutes flat)
because Fall is the perfect season to catch up, and the perfect season to host a fall party
(did I already mentioned that Fall is perfect?)
During summer we are all full of activities, going to the beach, to the lake, to the nearest water source, eating pineapples and watermelons till our bellies explode, drinking lemonades and heading to outdoor concerts,
we end up tired of relaxing
yes it can happen
also we are very busy melting and wondering why the heat has to be so cruel to us (wait am I the only one?)
But during fall? You actually have time to really catch up with everyone and that is awesome.
But lets go again to the party because I’m incredibly fast moving the conversation to something that has nothing to do with the post
So lets go with the step by step of this fall party:
First obviously I served cupcakes, pumpkin pie cupcakes with pumpkin spice frosting, aka yesterdays recipe, that by they you can find here. They are incredibly easy to make at home, and they only take like 30 minutes to get done done done. less time cooking, more time chatting
Then I opened up a bag of popcorn and place them on a nice dish, because nice dishes make everything look put together even if we are just talking about a bag of popcorn that you bought while wearing the comfiest pair of yoga pants and a messy bun 15 minutes before the arrival of your friends
and then I did the same with a bag of sea salted almonds, see? We are elegant, we eat more than just cupcakes we even eat (gasp!) salty things
Finally I placed a large chunk of cheese on a cutting board and cot some pieces, the secret when creating a cheese board is making it easy to grab and to show your guests that yes eating it is completely fine, so a bit of messiness is encouraged, yep we humans are weird, if it’s to properly placed, we are gonna prefer to eat something else for fear of screwing something up. I added some dark chocolate pieces and more almonds, to pair your know.
And them I made some green raspberry tea (that by the way has the cutest color ever!!!!!) why I made this tea? Because is pink my friends, and I’m basic like that. I poured it in white wine glasses to continue with the girly cozy party atmosphere that I was trying to create, also I placed close an ice bucket in case someone wanted their tea iced
And for decoration I places some sweaters, yep sweaters, not fancy fabrics that I have sitting around just for the time that I want to make a fall party, (nobody got space for that). I just raid my closet and grabbed a pink sweater a white plushy fluffy scarf and a laced cover up and they did the trick.
And that’s it, in less than 20 minutes (40 if you clock in the cupcake baking time) you just got yourself a completed decorated party table for the best fall party ever!
What are your fall plans? Are you planning to host a party?
