Hello, Sea Salt Chocolate Granola I will love you forever and ever and ever.
Ok friends, I have to be honest with you, there’s something about sea salt chocolate that makes me fall in love instantly with it. I don’t know if it’s the fact that sea salt amps up the chocolate flavor, or if it has anything to do with how well a bit of salt goes with a bit of sugar or if maybe it’s just the crunchiness that comes with sea salt flakes. Whatever it is I love it and I just can’t have enough of it, so needless to say I was desperately looking for ways to incorporate it into my breakfast routine.
Because having chocolate for breakfast is probably the best thing about being a grown up right?
I mean Monday mornings will instantly get better if you know you are going to end up having a bowl full of sea salt chocolate granola.
Just think about it for a second
Just a bit salty
full of antioxidants
Chockfull of superfoods
And oh so delicious
sea salt chocolate granola waiting for you every morning.
Please give me 2 bowls, or 3
Can it get any better than that? Short answer, no it can’t
And besides been incredibly good and mind-blowing delicious it’s also really really healthy. I mean it’s made with only wholesome ingredients and good for you nuts and cereals. We have raw sugar and maple syrup as sweeteners, dark chocolate chunks, oats, coconut, pepitas, sunflower seeds and walnuts. This sea salt chocolate granola it’s packed with superfoods while still tasting like a treat.
I also love how it’s really easy to make. because if I’m been honest with you I don’t like to spend a ton of time cooking. I know I know I’m a food bloggers wouldn’t the kitchen be my happy place? It is but I’m also so full of things to do and trying to fit one more thing into my already packed to do list that anything that takes little time to make has bonus points in my heart.
To make this sea salt chocolate granola you just basically need to mix everything in a bowl, spread it in a baking pan and take it to the oven for around 30 minutes. Those 30 minutes make it all crunchy and golden brown and kind of melt a little bit the chocolate so it forms little clusters of sea salt chocolate granola happiness.
And once it’s out of the oven, add the sprinkle of salt and rejoice. It’s that good.
