There are good recipes, there are popular recipes and then there are the hottest recipes ever. This spicy vodka margarita made with KINKY Vodka and a whole lot of flavor is the hottest drink you’ll ever have.
And you’ll see the thing with drink recipes is that they are simple, they use very few ingredients and require a small set of ingredients. A splash of this, a dash of that and just a little shake and you are probably done. Also, they are quite customizable, don’t have something? Just leave it out.
However, since we have so little things in here we need to make sure they are quality ones, and when I say quality ones I actually mean incredibly delicious ones that make your cocktail shine. In this case, the total star of the recipe is the Kinky Pink Vodka.
In case you are not familiar with Kinky Pink, it’s a vodka distilled 5 times and mixed with mango, blood orange liquor and passion fruit + it’s american made which is really awesome.
But back to this spicy vodka margarita, to make it you are going to need a couple of ingredients: lemon, KINKY Pink, cucumber, simple syrup (or sugar), ginger and a chili sea salt rim.
You just muddle a bit the cucumber and then shake everything up in a cocktail shaker. Rim your glass and fill it up to the brims, it’s a quick recipe perfecto for a pool party, and end of Summer soiree or just about any other party, plan, get together or whatever you have lined up.
Making the riming salt is as easy as it gets, just mix in a big bowl some sea salt, chili powder, paprika and a bit of pepper. It’s spicy and salty and totally Mexican and in my opinion gives the perfect kick without being too much. It’s so good that I highly advise you to store it in some small tins and give it as a gift along with some fresh lemons and a bottle of KINKY Pink. It will make the perfect hot gift for anyone that loves to have a good time.
Spicy Vodka Margarita
- 1 lemon
- 1.5 oz. KINKY Pink
- 1 oz simple syrup or 2 tsps white sugar
- 1 cucumber slice
- 1 Tbsp jalapeño slices
- Ginger to taste
- Tonic water to taste
- For the chili sea salt rim
- Some salt
- Pinch of chili powder
- Pinch of paprika
- Crack of pepper
- In a small plate mix the salt, chili powder, paprika, and pepper.
- Rim the glass
- Add the ginger and jalapeño slices to the glasses.
- Add the sugar, squeeze the lemon into the glasses and mix it up.
- Add KINKY Pink and fill it with ice cubes.
- Complete with some tonic water and garnish with a cucumber slice.
- Serve and enjoy.
