15 reasons why coffee is the best

If you’ve been a reader around here for a while then you probably already know that I’m pretty much a coffeeholic, I mean I drink it every day multiple times in the day and there’s not a coffee that I don’t like (ok maybe when it’s straight black without sugar) but seriously, I run on coffee. And it’s funny but every time I’m without it my day kind of sucks. And since I know that we all share the love for our morning cup of jo and for the laughs I decided to make a list, actually a list of the 15 reasons why coffee is the best (not that we need any more reasons).

15 reasons why coffee is the best

1. It saves us from a zombie apocalypse: I mean have you ever imagined the world without coffee? It would be filled with half asleep zombies trying to get to their workplaces supermarkets and other places that suck the life out of you. Coffee is the best because it saves us from that (ok not from the soul sucker activities, but definitely from going to them asleep).
2. Hot coffee saves you from the small talk: Have you ever found yourself not wanting to talk with Susan (your neighbor, the girl from marketing, the gal that sits next to you in yoga) you can always say “sorry, I didn’t have coffee this morning” and voila, you are saved from having to keep up with the awkward questions and comments about kids and the weather. Even better if said conversation is taking place in a place with a coffee machine close, use the “Oh, I need to refill my mug” and escape.
3. All nighters wouldn’t be the same without coffee: Can you imagine an all nighter without coffee? Because I can’t.
4. It’s the perfect excuse to get together: What would the world be without meetings for coffee?
5. It makes chocolate treats taste better: Coffee is the best  seriously, like it’s so good that it actually makes any chocolate treat taste a million times more chocolaty. Chocolate + Coffee = BFF.
6. It gives us a reason to wake up in the mornings: Especially when it’s Monday and you just want to roll in bed foreveeeeeer.
7. It’s cozy: Just picture this: a rainy day, it’s cold outside, and you snuggle with your mug of hot coffee. #CozyGoals accomplished.
8. It’s refreshing: But on the other side, there’s nothing more refreshing than an iced coffee on a hot summer day.
9. It’s the father of side gigs + the hustle+ the juggle: If you have a passion project, a gig, a side job, a second job, a child, basically anything other besides your 9 to 5 then you probably already know that you accomplished everything thanks to coffee, time to include it in your acceptance speech (because with coffee by your side you are totally going to get an award!).
10. You can drink it every day all day and no one would tell you anything: There are very little things in life that have the power of not generating side eyes, remarks, or “it’s for your own good” comments.
11. The flavor makes your tastebuds jump in happiness: I mean the flavor, the flavor is definitely one of the best things on the planet.
12. It makes people bearable: I mean, being around people can be hard but imagine if no one around you had coffee, not pretty, definitely not pretty.
13. Coffee won’t cheat: Your mug of coffee won’t go with someone else and it would definitely not leave you at the last moment when you were counting on him/her. No, your mug of coffee is loyal and is waiting for you on the mornings. He has seen you in your worst and is still there to support you. You can’t say that of most boyfriends.
14. You can look all chic and interesting when having a cup of coffee: Just sit on a cafe table with a cup of coffee and voila
15. You can take it with you everywhere: Like every single place.

But the truth is coffee wouldn’t be the same if it doesn’t have the perfect temperature (whether you prefer to have it iced or hot) that’s why I love so much Thermos. It’s huge so you can fill it with all the caffeine you are ging to need in your day + it holds the temperature for 24 hours. Let me say that again, 24 hours of perfectly hot coffee right beside you.
