There are staples you always need to have in your pantry, Cocoa Puffs is one of them.
I mean you can have the cereal for breakfast (duh!) snack and dessert, I’m pretty sure it’s the most versatile thing you are going to have in your kitchen.
Also, you can make fudge with it, Cocoa Puffs Fudge. Think about it.
And not any fudge, I’m talking about the 3 ingredient variety, the one that takes less than 30 minutes to be done (and that’s counting the time it takes to harden) the fudge that your hungry, full of cravings self needs.
Can we talk for a second about the flavor? It’s a chocolate crunchy explosion of deliciousness that everyone, and when I say everyone I mean every single person you know, will love and rave about it for days/weeks/months/years to come!
But best of all, Cocoa Puffs Fudge is one of those recipes that’s perfect to make with the little ones (or with anyone that loves something delicious) because it’s super easy + super fun.
Mix everything together, do it quickly, make a mess, stick your fingers in the chocolate, lick the spatula build memories around it, and then share the batch with your family and build even more memories enjoying it.
Suddenly you turned a box of cereal in a ton of memories, a batch of the most delicious homemade fudge, and the most heart-warming smiling faces.
Excuse me while I go to make another batch.
How to make Cocoa Puffs Fudge
You just need to mix some chopped chocolate or chocolate chips with condensed milk and take to the microwave for 1 minutes. Once it’s melted mix it well add the Cocoa Puffs and continue mixing.
Once it’s melted mix it well add the Cocoa Puffs and continue mixing. This is where the difficult step comes in: try not to eat it all with a spoon.
Now that you conquered the temptation, spread it into a pan, cover with more Cocoa Puffs, and take to the fridge.
Cut it into squares and share with everyone.
Then obviously sneak into the kitchen to grab more when no one is watching because gosh, it’s so good is worth to be sneaky to grab an extra piece.
You can buy the Family size Cocoa Puffs box at Walmart (super easy to find in the cereal aisle), where you can also find the other 2 ingredients you need to make the Cocoa Puffs fudge.
And, since we are talking about delicious recipes that build memories also pay a visit to Que Rica Vida and search for more delicious treats perfect for Dia de los Niños!
