My friends, whether we like it or not (I know it0s such a hot topic) Valentine’s Day is around the corner, like 4 days from now around the corner! So I made this list with all the drool-worthy, oh so delicious desserts perfect for Valentine’s Day! But I decided to make it all inclusive so if you are planning to spend it with bae, just want to have a little galentines day, thinking about creating the anti-valentines day party commission or just want a treat to eat it all by yourself while wondering why people make such a big thing out of nothing this is the list for you.
Also, in traditional Carmela POP style everything is easy, requires little ingredients, even less time and even less counter space and appliances (I’m looking at you, tiny kitchen with the size of a small closet).
I’ve also included some full of chocolate, some cute and some single serving versions that can be made in the microwave (dorm room approved!!) so pin it, clip it, bookmark it and save it for later because Valentine’s Day just got way more sweeter.
This is my favorite brownie recipe in the whole world and one of the first recipes ever I made for this blog. It’s super chocolaty, takes 20 minutes to make and has the cutest frosting flowers on top.
However, if the thought of making frosting flowers makes you panic, feel free to remove them and just serve it with a healthy dose of ice cream. It also yields only two slices, so it’s perfect for sharing or for eating by yourself (I’ve done this in the past and can totally certify that eating a mini pan of brownies by yourself is the best).
This is HUGE, this is like the HUGEST single serving peanut butter cookie in the planet.
Look friend, you could be able to share it and still be full with only half of the cookie that’s how massive it is. It’s also super fast and you can actually make it in one of those tiny ovens that people use to toast bread.
Let’s be honest everything that has white chocolate in it sounds instantly fancier.
So, you can sound all adult while presenting your little creations to your significant other or group of friends.
Come up, just say it with me “For tonight I made a batch of white chocolate cupcakes with fresh blueberries” now please feel how you have all your life put together (no, let’s not talk about those student loans of the dirty laundry that we are too lazy to wash please)
Yes, you can totally make a mug cake and rock it in the dessert department, especially if it’s a smore cupcake with the size of a small coffee and it’s full of chocolate frosting.
I mean, you don’t even need to tell anyone that’s a mug cake.
After killing it in the dinner and dessert department, you need to make breakfast right?
I don’t need to explain anything else here or this will get kind of awkward but the point is this pancakes are easy and have chocolate in them, enough said.
You can also make it gluten-free and kind of healthy and it’s SO good!
So, if you, your friends or bae has special dietary requirements, this is the cake for you.
It yields more portions than the other dessert from this list (think 5 or so) but it’s so delicious and you will have leftovers for the next day!
You don’t need to turn on your oven or even your microwave for this!
I love it because it’s a super simple customizable snack. What to amp up the valentine’s Day vibe?
Just use pink marshmallows and swap the chocolate chips for white chocolate chips.
Serve it with a glass of wine and Netflix and chill just got to another level
