There’s nothing more refreshing than an iced tea. Iced teas are meant for spring afternoons and hot Summer mornings. They have the perfect little bit of caffeine and sugar and are just amazing.
And Dunkin Donuts has a delicious and varied iced tea menu! So I’m sharing all their flavor options ranked, that way you’ll know what to order (or what new flavor to try) next time you are at the Dunkin drive trough.

Iced black tea
This one is the classic, the OG, the real deal. Order this one when you need some classic comfort.
What I love about Dunkin is that you can either request the iced black tea sweetened or unsweetened, depending on what you are craving.
The sweet version is, well, sweet. The unsweetened one tastes a little bit more bitter and herbier.
I usually prefer the unsweetened one and just add sugar or sweetener at their condiments bar, that way I can customize it to my liking.
Iced tea lemonade
This is AMAZING! If a sweet tea and a lemonade had a child it would probably be this Dunkin Donuts iced tea lemonade.
It’s incredibly refreshing, sweet and tart at the same time and the perfect pair to a plain donut.
Iced green tea
I’m a huge fan of green te so this might be biased but I really love the iced green tea you can get at Dunkin. It’s slightly grassy, as most green teas are, but it feels lighter and more refreshing than the iced black tea.
It’s also delicious if you order it with any of their amazing tea flavor shots.
Actually all flavor shots pair better with the green tea than with the black tea, just something you might keep on mind.
Dunkin refresher: All their options ranked!
Mango pineapple tea
This one might depend on season and your location but some Dunkin Donuts restaurants carry mango pineapple tea.
I haven’t tasted it but according to the reports is an incredibly tropical tea with sweet and tart notes. It also has a bright yellow color that feels like Summer.
Blackberry tea
Just like with the mango pineapple tea the blackberry tea is only available at select locations and on certain dates. I also haven’t tasted it myself but the reports are really good!
The blackberry fruited iced tea is made to order and you can request it sweetened or unsweetened.
Flavor shots
Now it’s time for the best part! you can actually customize your tea order with flavor shots!
The flavor shots are honestly amazing and one of the best ways to add a little bit of extra flavor to your order.
I feel they pair really well with the green tea, but they are also delicious with the iced black tea and with any of their fruity tea concoctions.
Want to know my little secret? I like to customize the tea shot with the donuts I’m ordering. So if I’m ordering something more decadent, like a Boston cream I go with a sweet and dessert inspired flavor shot.
Vanilla
I’m going to be honest with you, this is a hit or miss depending on your vanilla opinions. I really lied it but some people hate it.
Here’s the thing, the vanilla flavor shot is, well, a total shot of flavor so your tea ends up tasting a lot like French vanilla.
I feel this flavor in particular goes better with the black tea than with the green tea since it balances it better.
The good thing about this flavor shot is that it comes in a sweetened and unsweetened version so if you are counting calories, macros or just watching your sugar intake it might work for you.
Hazelnut
Hazelnut is amazing. I mean everything with hazelnut in it is delicious and this flavor shot is not the exception.
Just keep in mind the flavor shots are powerful so your iced tea will definitely taste like hazelnut.
Toasted almond
toasted almost is not as strong as the vanilla and hazelnut flavor shots so if you are looking for something ore mild this is the right pick for you.
It’s sweet ad slightly nutty and perfectly balanced. I really liked it with both the green tea and the black tea.
Blueberry
Blueberry is good. Period.
I mean it goes great with all the tea options, even the fruity ones.
The flavor shot is sweet, is fruity, it’s Spring-y.
Raspberry
Raspberry flavor shot is really good as well, just like the blueberry one. This is a flavor shot that pairs great with all the Dunkin Donuts iced teas.
it feels more tart than the blueberry one and it has some strong berry notes. It’s perfect to balance out a sweet tea.
Coconut
Unexpectedly good to be honest. This flavor shot is incredibly tropical and gives the tea a nice and sweet taste that’s to die for.
Flavor swirls
Dunkin Donuts no only has flavor shots but they also have flavor swirls. The flavor shots are unsweetened, they are just that a shot of flavor.
The flavor swirls on the other hand are sweetened and are also thick and creamy. Depending on the flavor swirl you order it might either be a syrup or a milk or cream base.
Caramel
The caramel flavor swirl is decadent. It’s the type of thing you would like to add on a weekend or during a day when you want a little extra something.
It tastes like caramel (duh) and it’s creamy and milk (or cream) based. So it would result in a tea that looks like if you added milk to it.
French vanilla
Same as the french vanilla flavor shot just way more sweet.
Hazelnut
Also lie the sweet version of the hazelnut flavor shot.
Mocha
Since this is a rank of all the Dunkin iced teas this one needs to go last. I’m pretty sure the mocha flavor swirl is amazing with coffee but with iced tea? Yeah, no.
I tastes lie chocolate and it’s thick and creamy so the end result has a weird texture that’s not too pleasant.
