Cookie time!! Seriously, one of the reasons I love Christmas so much is because it’s completely normal to bake 2847082134 cookies with the excuse of sharing them (seriously who shares cookies?), so obviously, during this month, I jump at the opportunity and just bake – and eat – my heart out, and now I want you to do the same in the name of the Holidays (yes I just gave you a excuse to eat ~all the cookies ~) so for the sake of the Holidays today I’m sharing the easiest soft cookie recipe with the best Oreo frosting on the planet (bring out all the heart emojis)
Seriously look at that frosting and try not to drool (and then just drool because OREO FROSTING!!!)
This is the perfect recipe for the lazy cooks, the first time bakers and the cookie lovers (you know, the ones that NEED a cookie right now) it’s so so easy you are going to be making them all the time, ’cause cookies. Seriously it’s one pan easy
no need to refrigerate easy
mix all the ingredients in a bowl easy
bake for only 15 minutes easy
no skill necessary easy
I will let that sink in because dude that recipe has game (I told you this was the easiest soft cookie recipe right?)
Also, it’s a perfect recipe for those moments when you are overstressed with the Holidays – you know when you said yes to attending the party of your mother in law, and that yes, you were bringing your world famous treats – it’s also perfect if you plan on giving cookies as gifts because you only need one pan to be are ready, and also because we all know that cookies are the best possible gift in the whole planet Earth.
To made them I used Reynolds Bakeware, they make baking so much easier partly because you don’t have to wash dishes after and partly because they are non-stick (meaning you don’t need to grease and line your pan before baking). So in the middle of the Holiday craziness every step that you can save is seriously appreciated, plus they are also great to transport your treats!
Easiest soft cookie recipe
So you are just saying “Yes, gimme all the cookies” here is the basic rundown of what you should do
Throw (or you know place) all the ingredients in a bowl.
Mix everything well.
Press the dough on a pan, preferably a non stick one that you can throw away like this one Reynolds (since they are disposable they make the cleanup so much easier!!)
Bake for 15 minutes.
Frost it with a thick layer of fluffy, delicious and cloud-like frosting (aka the ultimate vanilla frosting)
Cut into squares and you know share it (yeaaaaah sure)
