Towering onion rings
The towering onion rings are probably one of the most popular Red Robin appetizers!
Imagine this, 13 crispy fried delicious onion rings piled on top of one another and served with Campfire mayo and ranch sauce to dip to your hearts contempt.
This is a great appetizer to share with friends and family. If you plan on going for happy hour for example, this is a delicious appetizer to order.
Fried pickle nickles
Do you like pickles? Because if you like pickles you are going to love these fried pickles!
Here me out, battered dill slices are deep fried until super crispy and golden brown and served with campfire mayo.
They are zesty, pickly, crunchy and slightly spice (with the mayo) so they are a total flavor bomb.
Chili chili cheese fries
These fries are to die for! They are the classic steak fries you can find at Red Robin served with their delicious Red’s Chili Chili, bacon, cheese, jalapeños and some Ranch dipping sauce on the side.
It’s creamy, melty, spicy, crunchy and really really good.
Bar wings
Red Robin has the most delicious wings EVER! You can pick if you prefer boneless wings or bon in wings (both are delicious). They come served over a bed kettle chips that’s MIND BLOWING GOOD.
The great thing about wings is that you can really play up with your wing sauces.
The buzz wing sauce is probably the most popular sauce option for wings it’s super creamy and smooth and comes with the most delicious bleu cheese crumbles.
The whiskey river BBQ sauce it’s a boozy and sweet sauce that’s perfectly smoky and the best match for wings.
The island heat is amazing if you love spicy. It comes with grilled pineapple and fresh jalapeño.
Finally, the banzai sauce is s teriyaki inspired sauce that comes with grilled pineapple too. So so good.
Red’s popcorn shrimps
Popcorn shrimp is probably one of my favorite appetizers to order at restaurants so take this with a grain of salt.
They are good. Think crispy and crunchy and have a good size. Depending on the Red Robin location you go too you can get the with either lime wedges or a lime wedge and a dipping sauce.
Honestly a good squeeze of lemon juice is all you need to balance them out and make them mind blowing good.
Gooey cheese sticks
These are your traditional mozzarella sticks, just under a different name. They are lightly battered mozzarella sticks that are then dip fried until perfectly golden and crunchy and served with a marinara sauce on the side.
Potato skins
Can we just agree that potato skins are one of the best appetizers ever? Potato skins at red robin are twice baked and served with crumbled bacon and melted cheese on top.
Guac, salsa & chips
This is a delicious appetizer that’s perfect to share with friends when you plan on grabbing drinks latter.
It’s super crispy and salty chips served with guacamole on the side and a delicious zesty spicy salsa. Simple, fail proof and a crowd favorite.
Creamy artichoke and spinach dip
If you are looking for a classic appetizer that feels lighter and healthier(and not deep fried) then the artichoke spinach dip is probably great for you.
It’s the classic cheesy dip served with celery sticks and salted tortilla chips on the side.
Baja dip n chips
If you are looking for a simple appetizer to have before a large meal or just to nibble on something while you enjoy a cold drink this chips are great.
They are just that, crispy chips sprinkled with sea salt and served with a zesty Baja ranch dripping sauce on the side.
Pretzel bites
The pretzel bites are good but if you are just going to order one or two things at Red robin go with other options.
If you plan to order a large selection of appetizers then totally include them.
These pretzel bites are warm, soft, gooey and crispy on the outside. They are also served with the most delicious and creamy beer cheddar cheese sauce that’s really good.
Classic mini wedge salad
This is just what it sounds like: a lettuce wedge salad served with a delicious ranch dressing.
It’s then topped with crumbled bacon bits, bleu cheese crumbles and diced onion.
And my favorite: their fired onion straws! Onion straws are really what makes this salad more fun and interesting than your “typical” salad.
Happy hour at Red Robin
What I really like about Red Robin is their happy hour special! The times will vary from location to location but most run Monday trough Friday.
During happy hour you can get 1/2 off on all appetizers on the menu and also $2 domestic beers and $3 margaritas so it’s a great way to have some fun time out with friends while keeping it affordable.
