This Tomato Basil 15 minutes Pasta is the perfect weeknight meal for hectic days. Super quick and super delicious and full of the Tuscan flavors we know and love thanks to the addition of Bertolli Sauce.
When it comes to dinner time I’m looking for meal ideas that are as quick and easy as they are delicious- And when it comes to pasta I want to make sure I’m having a quality meal made with quality ingredients (after all when it comes to this Italian dish all the flavors shine and play a huge roll) I also want something that uses very little things because, at the end of the day, simple meals are better.
This Tomato Basil 15 Minutes Pasta is as uncomplicated as it gets. It features three super high-quality ingredients. Good pasta, a drizzle of good quality olive oil and a big serving of Bertolli Sauce in the flavor Tomato and Basil. The thing that I love about Bertolli is that they have 150 years of the story creating sauces with the Tuscan way (after all that’s where the brand started!) so you know you are getting a great quality sauce (that preserves each one of the individual ingredient flavors) for a reasonable price.
The other great thing? They have free online cooking lessons! You can learn to cook the Tuscan way by visiting their site. Their site is chockful of inspiration and how-tos, from gnocchis made from scratch to how to select the best wine, infuse Tuscan flavors to store-bought bread, and picking cast iron pans. Seriously it’s that good, and I’m not even kidding.
For me the secret to keeping things uber flavorful and Tuscan it’s simple. Just cook your pasta for 3 minutes less than required. Drizzle it with some olive oil, add some Bertolli Sauce and let it simmer for three more minutes. Basically, the pasta finishes cooking in the sauce which adds an extra layer of flavor that’s to die for.
